Help
I am planning a weekend trip to NYC in March and I would LOVE recommendations of a few places to stay. There will be 6 of us, so two rooms or a suite would be best and we'd like to stay pretty central...
any ideas?

My favoritest hotel in the city is both a little un-central and a lot of money - The Mark. So I'm suggesting the Hilton on 6th Avenue near Radio City Music. It's a major tourist hotel meaning they can store your bags (for a fee) and have a steady flow of cabs out front. They also limit lobby access to guests only after a certain time of night and because it isn't right on Times Square like The Marquis or W, you don't get daytrippers or creeps in general traipsing through or using the lobby to rest. I also think price wise it falls closer to NYC reasonable without ending up in a place where there's a chalk outline in the hallway and yellow crime scene tape draped across a doorway. I've heard the Hudson is a dump and the one time chic Paramount had a guest raped by someone lurking in the hallways a few years ago. Charming, I know.
Sorry,I'm not much help in the hotel dept. I did live in NYC for most of my life so if you want fun ideas of where to go out I can help there?
Are you going for fun shopping? Nightlife? I'm more of a downtown SoHo, Greenwich Village gal...let me know if you need anything. :)
Have fun!!
