I know, one of the worst things to do as a blogger is to blog about your lunch so I won't go into details of it, but just wanted to maintain for posterity that I as of 11:07am have eaten my breakfast, lunch and two snacks for the day. Now I left to dream longingly of food for the rest of the day.

I hate days like this. :)

Either (a) you have a tapeworm or (b) your meals and snacks are WAY too tiny. I suffer from neither of these two dilemmas but I keep a ready stash of roasted almonds nearby for hunger pangs. Works wonders.

Now that I have stopped lurking I can show my true narcisitic self and try to turn this into a blog about me :), (i am too lazy to create my own). I have been overweight for quite a few years and have tried to change my diet to lose weight, eating what I thought was a great diet and exercising. Then on January 21st I found out I have diabetes, from that point on I have drank nothing but water and the occasional crystal light, eaten fruits and vegetables, lean proteins and VERY little carbs, and do ALOT of walking. I have lost 53 lbs in less than 4 months. I wonder now if medication treatment (10 days of insulin and the metformin I am still taking) broke some kind of metabolic barrier or changed something in me that was preventing me from losing weight. So anyways I never go now more then a couple hours without eating something, fruit, Kashi Bar or low fat cheese. Your 48 YO "friend" from an earlier posting
