Fuel Your Anger

In my neck of the woods gas reached over $4/gallon yesterday ($4.09). When I bought my car in July of 2006 my dad bought me my first tank of gas- - it cost him $44.78. I filled my tank on Sunday morning and it topped off at $76.35.

This totally sucks.

Yes, it sucks. But what sucks more is buying 89 octane for $4.19 at 5:30pm and then passing the same station at 10:00pm and seeing the price had changed to $3.99. Now that SUCKS.

I am from Long Island and the gas is a minimum $4.23 for regular...absolutely ridiculous. I am going to the outerbanks with a bunch of friends in a couple of weeks and the prices are going to be gross.

In theChicago area gas has been over 4.00 for a bit now. I just depressed each time I have to go to the station to fill the tank.

It's $3.99 here in Birmingham. I heard from the Chevron distributor that it is going to go up 15% this week. I hope he was lying.

I remember when I lived in VT. Gas was always high-priced. However, it was probably about HALF of what it is now. Ha!

Filling my tank in Burlington killed me a month ago!
